Mary E. Silvani, RN, MAEd Executive Director / Owner
Mary serves as the Executive Director and is a 50% owner of the organization. With over 25 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, Mary is dedicated to providing exceptional care and leadership. She is on-site 40 hours each week, ensuring the highest standards of service and support.
John S. Silvani, RN, CARN, CAS-Fellow, LCDC-II, FIAAN Sponsor and Program Director
John oversees the day-to-day operations as the Sponsor and Program Director. With over 35 years of experience in operating Methadone Treatment Programs, John also serves as the Chief Operations Officer, ensuring compliance and licensure. He has extensive expertise in writing policies for the State of Ohio and consulting for numerous treatment providers in Southwest Ohio. Since 1989, John has owned and operated Medically Assisted Treatment Programs, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the organization.
Clifford Q. Cabansag, MD, DABAM, FASAM, CTTS Medical Director
Dr. Clifford Q. Cabansag is a highly respected Certified Addictions Specialist and Fellow. He has mentored numerous physicians and medical students, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise. As the Responsible Person on our Terminal Distributor license and a Board-Certified Addiction Specialist, Dr. Cabansag provides 16 to 24 hours of treatment at Pax. He is also an expert in treating nicotine use disorder, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to our team.
James Chaillet, MD Staff Physician
Dr. James Chaillet has been an integral part of our program since 2014. He provides 8 to 16 hours of care each week, contributing significantly to our commitment to offering more physician time than any other opioid treatment program in the state of Ohio.
Mary Leyendecker, MHPNP Mental Health Practitioner
Mary Leyendecker, MHPNP, brings over 15 years of experience in addictions and mental health to the Pax Treatment Program. Specializing in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, Mary offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise, ensuring comprehensive mental health care for our clients.
Jason Murray, BA, LCDC-III Clinical Supervisor
Jason Murray, BA, LCDC-III, has over 15 years of experience working in the field of addictive disorders. As the Clinical Supervisor at Pax, he oversees the counselors and ensures that group therapy remains an integral part of treatment. His extensive experience includes working with the Drug Court in Hamilton County and serving as the clinical lead at Pax since 2021.
Owen Norris, LPN, CDCA Medication Nurse
Owen Norris has over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and has been working as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor Assistant (CDCA) for the past 2 years. With over a decade of experience as a medication nurse, Owen specializes in the administration of methadone and buprenorphine, bringing valuable expertise to our team.
